In the shadows where whispers hide,
Where judgments and doubts collide,
I stand my ground, steadfast and true,
My spirit strong, my heart anew.
For every word they cast my way,
Each bitter remark that tries to sway,
I rise above, with purpose clear,
Their voices fade, my mind sincere.
They cannot see the dreams I chase,
Nor feel the fire that sets my pace,
Their negativity, like fleeting wind,
Cannot deter the will within.
With every effort, deed, and stride,
I sail against the shifting tide,
For I am more than their disdain,
In my resolve, I shall remain.
So let them speak, let them scorn,
Their words like dust on a quiet morn,
I forge ahead, with vision bright,
Through every storm, into the light.
In the end, when all is done,
It’s not their shadows, but my sun,
That shines with brilliance, warm and true,
A testament to what I knew.
Though they may doubt, and they may jeer,
I’ll face the world with no fear,
For in my deeds and efforts shown,
I build a legacy, my own.
